3/8-inch Low Profile and standard 3/8-inch chain are different. If your saw has a replacement bar, check its current markings.
Semi-Chisel or Full-Chisel?
Semi-Chisel: a rounded cutting corner that is more forgiving to sharpen and more tolerant of debris in wood.
Full-Chisel: a square cutting corner suited to fast cutting in clean wood. It needs attentive sharpening and can lose its edge more quickly in dirty wood.
Cutter type does not determine compatibility. Match chain specifications first.
Standard 65Mn or Pro alloy steel?
Standard Series: 65Mn manganese steel, our everyday replacement range.
Pro Series: alloy steel. Check the individual product specifications when choosing a Pro chain.
Material is only one part of chain performance. Heat treatment, cutter geometry and maintenance also matter. Match the fit and cutter type first.
What comes in the pack?
The selected pack contains the number of chains shown in the pack-size option: 1PC, 2PC, 5PC or 10PC, where offered.
Every chain in a pack uses the selected specifications and cutter type. A chainsaw, guide bar and sharpening tools are not included unless the product listing explicitly says otherwise.
Sharpening & first-use checks
Follow your saw and chain instructions for installation, tension, lubrication and protective equipment. Confirm the chain specification and cutting direction before use.
Use the file diameter and filing angles specified for your exact chain. If you are unsure about the setup, stop and ask for fit help.

Measure across three consecutive rivet centers and divide by two. Match the pitch required by your saw and guide bar.

Count the drive links around your existing chain. These are the lower tabs that run in the bar groove.

Is bar length enough to choose a chain?
No. Match pitch, gauge and drive-link count. Different chains can fit the same nominal bar length, so check your saw and current guide bar before ordering.
Can I use an OEM number to check the fit?
An OEM part number is a useful starting point. Confirm it against the current bar and chain specifications, especially if the guide bar has been replaced.
Which file size does my chain need?
Use the file diameter and filing angles specified for your exact chain. A file is not selected by bar length alone. Check the chain instructions or ask us before choosing sharpening tools.
Can I change cutter type without changing fit?
Only select a replacement approved for your saw and guide-bar setup. Matching pitch, gauge and drive links is essential; also follow the saw manufacturer’s chain requirements.
